Hello!

It’s been a LONG time since I’ve done a What I Ate Wednesday post, but guess what I totally remembered to take pictures of meals yesterday! Can you believe it?

The truth is I’m completely burnt out on food and eating. I’ve lost all creativity. I’ve lost all desire to munch on veggies and fruits. I just feel BLAH about food. I’m bored with cooking. I’m bored with shopping. Like I said…I’m blah.

So here it is…everything, and I mean everything I ate yesterday. Its not my healthiest, most creative, or most exciting day of meals but its a jumping off point…because I’m starting something totally new tomorrow. Something I’m really excited about.

Banana & Peanut Butter Rolled Oats for breakfast at my desk.2014-01-07 08.42.15I didn’t have much of an appetite this morning so I only ate about half. I had to run to the store to pick up a birthday card during my lunch break so I saved my leftovers and bought some hot soup.2014-01-07 13.05.29Baked potato soup with a roll and juice. Totally hit the spot.

I’ll be completely honest and admit that my one pregnancy “craving” has been cinnamon swirled donuts either with maple frost or just glazed. So I had one with my lunch…2014-01-07 13.15.51And I don’t even feel guilty about it. I wish I had another one right now. Later in the afternoon I snacked on few Dark Chocolate & Almond Dove squares.2014-01-07 15.48.54My dinner….well its pretty ugly but it was so delicious!2014-01-07 18.45.00Its so ugly, I almost want to delete the picture. But it was really good! A lady at work suggested this to me after I told her that I made really terrible and dry pork chops last night and I didn’ tknow what to do with them now. She recommended a casserole…. It starts with a can of cream of mushroom soup in the bottom of a baking dish, pork chops on top of that. Next you cover it with frozen corn but I used and canned…and lastly a box of prepared Stovetop. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about 30mins .Yum!

I like to think of this as a Grandma type casserole! It sounded weird but was totally delish. The porkchops were no longer dry !And I finished off the night with a glass of chocolate milk.

Like I said…not my most healthy of days but whatever. I’m going to do better. I’m going to getmore veggies in……less chocolates. I’m thinking I’ll start recording in MyFitnessPal again, not because I need to lose weight but because I want to get the habit of recording my foods for after the baby comes. I’ve let too many of old good habits slip while I’ve been preggers, its no tgood. I need to fix this….NOW

I do have to admit that knowing I was taking pictures of each meal made me stop and think a little bit….which is why I had only one donut and not two…. I know, I’m terrible…..but that baby really likes donuts.

And with that….Im out here!

Be sure to link up your eats over at Peas and Crayons!!

Vegetarian for a Week [Diet-to-Go Review]

Why Hello Friends! I’ve seriously missed you, but things have been pretty interesting around here, and I’ve been unable to get to the computer as much as I’d like. Stick with me and I promise to give you a BIG update and I promise to get back to regular blogging!

Lucky for me while things have been a little out of wack, I was blessed with another week of meals from Diet-to-Go! A few months ago I was selected as a Diet-to-Go Ambassador and my partnership with them has been fabulous! I loved my first week of meals, so I was seriously excited to get the chance to review another week of meals.

Just to mix things up some, I picked the Vegetarian Menu. I was part nervous and part excited. I had a brief stint as a vegetarian but I didn’t go super crazy with fake meat or soy things. So I really didn’t know what to expect with my week of meat free meals. But you know, I was very pleased with these meals. A couple of them were a little on the “light side” so I added some fruit and nutrient rich beverages. (I picked the 1600 calorie plan but I’m currently eating around 1800-2000 calories per day.)

As usual, I think the breakfast were some of my favorites! I’m a huge breakfast lover!

Waffles! With added blackberries, a glass of milk and a little dab of peanut butter mixed in with the syrup. I was actually sent waffles for two breakfasts because something else was out of stock. I was one happy girl!

I also enjoyed blueberry pancakes with soy sausage. The sausage was so delicious. I would totally eat it over regular pork sausage. It was tasty.

On the savory side of things, I was sent this Ratatouille Omelet!

Which was packed with veggies and very filling. It was quite nice to get an extra serving of veggies in the morning.

Lunches were also veggie packed! My favorite was the Mushroom Ravioli but it looked so good, I totally forgot to snap a picture. Another fav was the White Bean Burrito…except again I forgot to take a picture. Its tough when I get so hungry at work, I just eat without thinking!

I did manage to take a picture of the Marinara Veggie Burger with popchips and spinach dip! With an added side of grapes plus red orange juice.

I hate to sound like a broken record here but dinners were equally as fabulous.

Penne Pasta with veggies!

Stuffed Cabbage rolls with more veggies.

And Veggie Pizza with more veggies!

I loved all the veggies! I guess that come with being a Vegetarian!

Monday Monday…

Hello!! This weekend I took some time off from blogging to relax and spend time with family! Although we spent a lot time visiting and on the go, I definitely feel relaxed after this weekend.

This weekend was my Mother-in-law’s 50th Birthday! The day started off with a golf scramble! I am NOT coordinated enough to golf…little ball with a little club….yep not gonna happen. However, I had lots of fun being part chauffer, part caddy!

I claimed to be the team cheerleader! Mostly I just drove the cart in a wild manner. Here’s some fun pictures from the day…

Blake with his mom and sister!

After golfing Blake had to head to work but I stayed for the party which included delicious pulled pork! yummmmm my favorite!

Sunday was spent sleeping in…then we headed out to breakfast. We finally figured out how to order breakfast for the two of us. Blake doesn’t eat eggs but everything always come with eggs. He also likes big variety of breakfast foods like the Denny’s Lumberjack slam…but we didn’t do to Denny’s so we ordered two regular breakfasts and a side of French toast, because I was in the mood for some delicious French toast! We piled all the eggs on my plate and I had a piece of bacon! It was perfect! Then he was able to have a little bit of everything without asking for a million changes to the menu.

After breakfast we checked out a few houses for sale, we are in the beginning discussions about possible buying a house. Which is exciting and terrifying. I’m a huuuuge worrier so we will have to see what happens.

We also spent some more time hanging out with Blake’s parents. We don’t see them very often, and I seriously miss seeing his Mom everyday. It was nice to relax and chat with them. By the time we got home last night, I was pooped and hit the hay early.

Today has been your basic Monday. Except I didn’t get a headache which rocks! After work I stopped by Maurice’s to see if they had this dress (in blue) in stock, but they did but not (in my size).

I think I’m going to order it online. I tried it on in a medium and a XL but neither worked. The medium fit well!! But was seriously short, I think a large would be best. Luckily, I have a coupon and gift card so it shouldn’t cost me a dime!

Then it was gym time! Today was Upper Body followed by 20 minutes on the Stairmaster. I finally figured out how to use the dang stepper! The higher the level the bigger the step! I always felt like I was taking these super tiny steps and it was so annoying! So now I finally got it figured it out.

I also had to stop at the grocery store real quick, which led to grilled cheese and tomato soup for dinner! Yum.

Anyways…this has become a long and boring post! So I’m outta here. I have a load of laundry to fold and some sleep to get!
